Romans 10:9-10, 13 “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

The Gospel is good news! The Bible says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16) On the cross of Calvary, God’s incredible love was revealed and offered unconditionally to all who would be saved.

By shedding His blood on the cross, Jesus took the punishment we deserve and offered us His righteousness. When we trust Christ for our salvation, essentially we are making a trade. By faith, we trade our sin and its accompanying death penalty for His righteousness and life.

Do you believe that Jesus died for you in order to give you eternal life? To accept God’s gift of salvation and begin a personal relationship with Jesus, here’s a simple prayer you can use to express your faith:

Dear God: I know that my sin has put a barrier between You and me. Thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ, to die in my place. Right now, I trust in Jesus Christ alone to forgive my sins, and I accept His gift of eternal life. I ask Jesus to be my personal Savior and the Lord of my life. Thank You. In Jesus’ name!

If you sincerely prayed that prayer and truly believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, you have eternal life.
